It fulfills the appointed tasks by presenting the occurrences of the contemporary artistic culture, building the documentary base, publishing. The profile of the events in PROGRAM gallery has as a rule a multimedia character. The intention is creating a place for art, implied as a culture creating space, a place for spreading the art’s dynamic, updated image. The gallery is open for searching new methods of communication, for art commenting and involved in modern reality (Integration, Inc.) as well as for working with young, debuting artists (hARTownia, Diplomas). The social aspect was the base to form and accomplish projects in public space (Floors of Art, Artcube).

The essential element of the gallery’s activity is promotion of polish contemporary art in the world. The gallery regularly participates in international art fairs (e.g. ArtCologne, Artefiera, Next Chicago, Preview Berlin, Solo Project Basel, Scope London & Miami, Viennafair). Simultaneously organizes exhibitions in co-operating galleries abroad and affiliates with artists from other counties, by arranging exchange residences and by participation in shows of international frame.

The need for developing taken measures and creating new artistic projects was the reason for establishing the Foundation for Promoting Contemporary Art, within which the PROGRAM gallery operates since 2005, and together runs key projects.
